Bug#1120428: libmawk: FTBFS on sparc64 due to unaligned access (Bus error)

Source: libmawk
Version: 1.0.5-1
Severity: normal
User: debian-sparc@lists.debian.org
Usertags: sparc64
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-sparc@lists.debian.org,libmawk@igor2.repo.hu

Hi,

the testsuite of libmawk crashes on sparc64 due to unaligned access (Bus error):

zfifo/zfifo_test < stage1.zf > stage1.out 2>&1; true
Bus error
make[5]: *** [Makefile:77: re_test.out] Error 138
make[5]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
Bus error

This is usually easy to debug and fix with the help of GDB.

Full build log available in [1]. Access to a SPARC machine is either
available through Debian [2] or the GCC Compile Farm [3].

Thanks,
Adrian
