You are too quick with your judging. Solaris 11.4 generally works fine on the SPARC S7.
It's just that Oracle unfortunately introduced a bug on the second CBE release (11.4.81),
it's aknown issue and fixed in later releases.
I can help you get access to a different version of Solaris 11.4 which should work for you.
