May this also lead to not be able (due to an unfished "apt" setup) that tasksel does not work either? Looks like the sources.list only has the cdrom entries

    Yes, I have run into this issue as well. It's a result of the package
    "debianutils" deprecating the command "tempfile" which apt-setup is
    still using in its current version.

    The issue has been fixed in Git [1], but the package has not been uploaded
    yet.
