I see, thanks for the clarification. I'll now try to get this installed
on my T1000.
libklibc and klibc-utils (both 2.0.4-11+sparc64.1) from "unreleased"
work like a charm for me on my T1000:
root@v245:~# uname -a
Linux v245 4.14.0-3-sparc64-smp #1 SMP Debian 4.14.12-2 (2018-01-06)
CPU op-mode(s): 32-bit, 64-bit
Byte Order: Big Endian
On-line CPU(s) list: 0-31
Thread(s) per core: 4
Core(s) per socket: 8
Model name: UltraSparc T1 (Niagara)
root@v245:~# dpkg -l *klibc* | less
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name Version Architecture Description
ii klibc-utils 2.0.4-11+sparc64.1 sparc64 small utilities built
with klibc for early boot
ii libklibc 2.0.4-11+sparc64.1 sparc64 minimal libc subset
for use with initramfs
Fortunately I still had a SATA disk (from V245 and later V445, hence the
hostname is still "v245") with an older libklibc installation and
working initrd which I could use for the update.
Thanks for fixing klibc.
