elfutils currently fails to build from source on sparc64. In order to
address this issue, upstream has incorporated a couple of patches from
Oracle.
Since a recent version of elfutils is now required to build systemd, it
would be great if elfutils in Debian could be updated as soon as possible
to address the issue.
In the meantime, I just grabbed 0.164 from upstream and built an updated
Debian package for the "unreleased" suite. However, since I had to strip
all Debian patches, I'm not sure whether my package is actually properly
packaged for Debian. But at least it should be enough to build systemd
again on sparc64.
