I just fired up my Ultra 60 with Creator card running Wheezy. 
No desktop manager, startx plus window manager.

Everything seems to work, except:

(1) No sound with SMP kernel. Non-SMP kernel O.K.

(2) "Bus error" with iceweasel and iceape. I believe it's been
    like this for a couple of years now.
