Problem booting T2000 with own kernel (2.6.39) and included initrd

hi,

I've created a own kernel with an included initrd from Debian (Squeeze) for my FAI network boot. But I get a kernel panic, after the kernel requested an IP from the dhcp server. Everything I installed (Squeeze) / build under a Sunfire v245. (Reason: OpenBoot has a limit at 9.5M for the netboot image)

Also I created a NFS rescue system which is running also under the T2000, but this kernel image is monolith and doesn't have any an initrd.

Successful boot from the v245

everything is identical, except the ip:

boot net3:dhcp  root=/dev/nfs boot=live FAI_ACTION=sysinfo nfsroot:192.168.1.1:/srv/fai-sparc/nfsroot ip=::::eth3:  debug

I don't know, what could be the reason .... I think, the next one which is called, is udefv ... but don't know ..

any suggestions?
