APT seems to find it just fine here:
$ apt-cache policy linux-image-2.6.24-1-sparc64
linux-image-2.6.24-1-sparc64:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 2.6.24-4
  Version table:
     2.6.24-4 0
        500 ftp://mirror.ens-lyon.fr sid/main Packages

2.6.22 is in lenny though, so either your mirror is outdated or you have
no 'sid' sources in sources.list?
