It didn't work with that or yaird.  Details in the bug report as far
as I remember.

I can't take down the system now and I'll lose access to it shortly.
Why would loading that module help, though?  The system running under
2.6.12 doesn't have it loaded -- it doesn't have an IDE disc -- unlike
my Blade 100, which did load it and boot OK under 2.6.15.

I don't think #352753 could relevant anyway as I have an older udev
and I think that's only a legacy of using initramfs-tools, which I
uninstalled.
