Xorg Keymap

    Hi !

It's been a long time since I upgraded testing/unstable debian
    on my SS20. It's currently still running a 2.4.26 kernel. I have
a type5 with euro keyboard and my xorg.conf was configured like
that. It worked perfectly. Unfortunately, since I upgraded
yesterday, my keymap is fully destroyed.

I know that there have been a lot of keymap related message recently
mainly due to upgrading to a 2.6 kernel and that one should use a
pc-style type of keyboard instead of a sun one. But I still use a
2.4 so I don't think this applies to me.

I've found a sun keycodes file in this ml archive but it is from
last december so maybe a little outdated. Anyway, I tried it and
it was not the good solution.

Has anyone already found such a problem ?
Do someone know what's happening and a potential solution ?

Here is what I have in xorg.conf:

Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
        Driver "keyboard"
        Option "CoreKeyboard"
        Option "XkbRules" "sun"
        Option "XkbModel" "type5_euro"
        Option "XkbLayout" "us"
EndSection

I tried with type5 only with no better chance.

ii xlibs 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System client libraries
                                       metapackage and XKB data
ii xlibs-data 7.1.0-5 transitional package for X11
                                       client data
