The same came to my mind, and I checked it, and by chance, the file in
question at
http://ftp.debian.org/pool/main/g/gcc-3.3/gcc-3.3_3.3.5.orig.tar.gz
loaded just fine for me. (http://ftp.debian.org/pool seems to be
properly linked for cases like this.)

So I'm not sure why it failed, but retrying may help or checking the
network connection (trying from another system).
