OS on RAID

Hi,

I wondering whether it is possible to boot Debian off of a RAID5 partition.
And if so, is it possible to set up such a system from the installer.
It's a e450 machine with 20 hard drives and it would ideal to run 
everything on top RAID (vs having a system disk + data on RAID).

This machine is currently running Sarge (2.4.26-smp kernel) using a 
separate system/data disk approach.
