cfdisk is AFAIK only used to edit DOS or PC-BIOS like partition tables.

In fact this is a major feature, in that you can attach x86/Linux
disks up to your Sparc to examine them and retrieve data.

	And viceversa. I had once a case where plugging a Solaris/Sparc hard
disk to a PC running Linux for data recovery saved the data and the day
(actually, much more than the day).
