Custom Kernel doesn't recognize 2nd CPU

I just built a custom kernel for a Sparc64 machine (Ultra 60). The machine
has 2 CPUs, but the kernel has problems recognizing it. The OBP and Solaris
recognize and can use both CPUs so I don't believe it's a hardware problem.
Ideas?
