Re: SILO and Create Boot Floppy Fails.



ive had that problem on several sparc systems, even with the /dev/hd[x]3
sun disk label

what has seemed to help with me, on those systems where SILO will not
install, is to 
create a small /boot partition as hd[x]1.  then SILO has installed for
me.

as for the boot floppy, ive never been able to successfully create a
boot floppy 
during installation of debian on sparc.
