Warning: /boot/System.map does not match kernel data. {___f_mmu_unlockarea}

I just upgraded my 2.4.18 Kernel to 2.4.20 on a sparc10 with make oldconfig.

After compiling and installing vmlinux and System.map under /boot like it
always worked before I get:

{iommu_unlockarea} {___f_mmu_unlockarea}
Warning: /boot/System.map does not match kernel data.

sparc10:~# uname -a
Linux sparc10 2.4.20 #1 Thu Mar 6 22:36:22 CET 2003 sparc unknown

/boot/
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root       293911 Mar  7 01:29 System.map
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root      2326807 Mar  7 01:29 vmlinux

So the System.map is absolutely postivive the one that just got compiled
with that kernel.

What else could be wrong?
