2.4.22 compilation problem on unstable

a few days ago I wrote about a problem while compiling 2.4.21 
on unstable...
One of You adviced me to use one of 2.4.22X releases
I tried to compile 2.4.22 and I got again:

: undefined reference to `_mcount'

: undefined reference to `_mcount'

: undefined reference to `_mcount'

: undefined reference to `_mcount' 
init/main.o(.text.init+0x6c): In function `checksetup': 
: undefined reference to `_mcount' 
init/main.o(.text.init+0x10c): more undefined references to 
`_mcount' follow

what's wrong with my system? Can anyone of You send me working 
deb package kernel_image with quota and iptables support (or 
give a link) optimized for sun blade 100?
