A similar problem here. Initially Debian
was on a external drive and subsequently I
wanted to move silo.conf to sda. Was never
successful although never investigated the
[-r root_path] option. I wonder what exactly
it is meant for?
Yes, the man pages can stand improvement.
A few more realistic examples would also help.
