the box is an sparc64 Ultra Enterprise 1, cpu as reported by 2.4.19:

i tried linux-2.6.0-test1-ac1 cause ac2 doesn't compile.
with the -p param i get more output, it seems to boot normaly
until it gets into a very quick loop, i can discern the last
part like:
bad: scheduling while atomic!
and a numbers like:
[0x????????:?????]
