corrupt .deb on ftp site

I'm attempting to install debian on a SPARCstation 2. It goes will
until the following message:

http://ftp.us.debian.org:80/debian/pool/main/f/fdutils/fdutils_5.3.7_sparc.deb
was corrupt.

I've tried a couple of times now with no joy.

I'd appreciate any advice you could send my way.
