Hi All

I'm still having compiling problems with debian linux.

I install the base distribution then do tasksel and install the c, c++ packages.

When I try to compile I still get during the configure stage host or target unknown and configure fails there.

What can I do to get around this, I have tried --host or --target during the configure stages to no avail.

Make sure that gcc, binutils and libc6-dev are installed.

I have these packages installed and still no go.

Also I am installing this on a ss5 170mhz
