Printing problem

Hello for all.
I work with a Sparc Ultra30 machine running Debina/GNU Linux 2.4.18.
I have a HP LaserJet 2100 printer.
I installed the complete cupsys package.
I tried to configure the printer using cups by
http://localhost:631/admin
Well... I have a lot of problems and first of all I need to know by
where a start to solve them!
1) I looked at /dev and I didn´t found /dev/lp0: is this a problem? If
it is, how can I solve it?
2) Although I have /dev/ttys0 and /dev/ttys1 (my two serial ports) the
printer didn´t work on them too.
3) I run lpinfo -v and I got:
	network socket
	network http
	network ipp
	network lpd
	serial serial:/dev/ttyS0?baud=115200
	serial serial:/dev/ttyS1?baud=115200
	network smb
As you can see I don´t have parallel!

Please, could you help me... If someone work with cupsys...

Thank you in addvance for your attention.

Antonio.
