Thanks Ben, that fixed the serial interface problem and it booted normally
to the first installation prompt, without the HME PCI card. However, it
appears that the 2.4.18 kernel still has problems with the HME PCI card
installed: (see below)
One major problem though - Even without the HME card, it did NOT see the
hard drive!!! Is this SCSI only?
