DNS Server
Hi All
I use my debian box as a DNS server but the other day I was playing
about with the dns config and now it will not answer dns request. It
will resolve if I do a look up localy but if I try from another box on
the network I get:
>*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.123.212: Timed out
I have put back the DNS config to how it used to be and start/stopped
the service..... I even resorted to rebooting the box *ouch*. When I do
a netstat -a I get the following (below), which doesn't show DNS
Listening...... well it might do but I'm to dence to know !!
Anyone any idea's ???
Cheers
Chris
