I assume you hit "S" here?

You have 2 CDROM's. I assume you have the Debian CD in the Plextor, and
the install is trying to mount scd0 (the Yamaha). Instead of hitting
"S", type this at the SILO prompt:


SILO: /boot/sun4cdm/linux root=/dev/scd1
