Slink install won't boot on SS2

Hello,

I am trying to install Slink on my SS2.

I have set up rarp and tftp on my Intel box (same setup I used to
install Red Hat on the Sparc, so I know they are working).

However, the station won't boot with the tftpboot images. With 2.0.35,
the SCSI driver panics with the dreaded "esp0: Warning, live target 0
is not responding to selection" (is "live target 0" ID0? I only have
one hard disk, which is ID3). 2.2.1 won't boot at all: the boot
process dies with a "Data Access Exception".

I have tried booting from floppy, too; I get:

SILO
Fatal error: Cannot read partition
Illegal or malformed device name
Fatal error: Cannot read partition
Fatal error: Cannot read partition
Fatal error: Unable to open filesystem

I have tried both 2.2.1 and 2.0.35 rescue disks, with 3 different
floppies, same result.
