Some problems after running dselect

Hello together!
I have install Debian 2.1 on a SUN4M-System now. After a lot of problems
handling dselect I´ve got my selected packages install
now. But now I´ve got 2 problems and I hope somebody can help me.
1) I can´t find the XF86Config file in /etc/X11 to install my X-Window.
     But I´ve got a linked File named XF86Config in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11.
     After ls -al Debian shows me:
    lrwxrwxrwx ... /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config -> /etc/X11/XF86Config
    (Where can I find a good help how to install the right
            XServer, Window-Manager etc)

2) How can I get back my german keyboard-mapping?
