ypbind soaks CPU, doesn't work
The bug tracking system is down, so I'm asking about this here. I'm not
subscribed to this list yet, so please CC me on any responses.
If I do ypbind -debug -broadcast, everything works as it should.
If I do ypbind -broadcast, (or /etc/init.d/nis start) ypbind eats up 100%
cpu between 3 or so threads, all things that try to use the nis maps (for
example, ls on the NFS mounted /home) go really slow and aren't successful,
and I can't ypcat any of the maps.
I'm using the NIS package 3.3.1-1
