DocBook/SGML tools broken?
Hello,
I hope it's appropriate to ask this here. Are the DocBook/SGML/jade
tools functional currently in Debian (testing and unstable)? I ask
because they recently broke in my testing and unstable installations:
1. When I use db2html, I get a manual produced, but the directory
stylesheet-images is empty (recently it is not created at all).
This is not a recent thing, but I notice that there are icons in
it in the same directory when processed on a SuSE box.
2. db2ps fails:
/usr/bin/db2ps users-guide-eps.sgml
Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/catalog
Using stylesheet: /usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6.9/docbook-utils.dsl#print
Working on: /tmp/osx/doc/users_guide/users-guide-eps.sgml
dvips: ! expected to see %%EndBinary at end of data
make[1]: *** [users-guide.ps] Error 10
3. db2pdf completes without error, but there are no included images
/at all/! There is just an empty line where they should be.
Is this a bug, or an error in my setup? I certainly have not changed
anything mysel--I just track the updates. The build of the gimp-print
source depends on db2ps, and the PDF version without images is quite
useless. I can provide additional information, if required, but I'm
afraid I am not an SGML expert.
Many thanks,
Roger
PS. Please could you CC replies, as I am not subscribed to
debian-sgml. Thanks.
