In addition you might want to try using the following:

mail.=info                       -/var/log/mail/mail.info
mail.=warn                       -/var/log/mail/mail.warn
mail.=err                        -/var/log/mail/mail.err

so that you properly distinguish the priorities (I figure that was you 
intention :-)    ).
