There is a GUI front end that is being used in cambridge. Secure
iExplorer, I think. Theres a custom PuTTY package that includes it at
http://www.srcf.ucam.org/utilities/ssh/srcf-ssh.exe

I've had a few problems with it, but it generally works fine
