salsa admin needed (fix or delete ffcx repo as fenics subproject)
tl;dr: Can a Debian Science salsa admin either move
https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/ffcx to
https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/fenics/ffcx, or else just delete
https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/ffcx ?
The FEniCS project is moving to a new ffc and dolfin (to ffcx and
dolfinx, respectively), new upstream at
https://github.com/FEniCS/ffcx
https://github.com/FEniCS/dolfinx
ffcx and dolfinx are a radically new reimplementation, and we therefore
want to continue maintaining old ffc and dolfin in parallel for the time
being, allowing users to use both and either. i.e. allowing parallel
installation. So we want to maintain ffcx and dolfinx in new repos.
I thought it might be helpful to retain the history, so I used the fork
function on the existing ffc repo at
https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/fenics/ffc
ffc is in the fenics subproject, but the fork option only allowed the
forked project to land directly under science-team. I couldn't fork it
into https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/fenics/ffcx.
Likewise https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/ffcx has the "Change
path" function, but I can only use it to change the repo name, it won't
change the path to https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/fenics/ffcx (if
you try, it gives the error "Path can contain only letters, digits, '_',
'-' and '.'. Cannot start with '-', end in '.git' or end in '.atom'")
Lastly, I don't have access to the Remove function to remove
https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/ffcx (so as to start again with an
empty repo under the fenics subproject).
So could someone with salsa admin rights either move
https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/ffcx to
https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/fenics/ffcx,
or alternatively just delete https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/ffcx
?
Thanks,
Drew
