Yaroslav confirmed it is OK, I know from Michael that he intends to
increase his involvement into Debian again in may be some months but he
was basically MIA since years.  I don't know anything about Diane but I
doubt she will stop you from saving the package. ;-)

Very good hint also for other packages ...

I'd be happily sponsor whatever you prepare (if I'm not misleaded you
are even DM so I can give you direct upload permissions).
