here is a tool to do it: gbp :)

download the source package from the archive, and run:

    gbp import-dsc ../ffc_1.6.0-2.dsc

technically I could do it and I already have the sources downloaded, but
I'll leave it to you as an exercise :D


I agree to not bother with svn anymore.  I'm basically waiting on
tille's reply to my question in the my second last email about how to
get rid of it.
