Re: Bug#704782: trilinos: new package for Trilinos 11.x

Hi everyone!

I indeed still maintain the PPA [1]. These builds are nightlies of the Trilinos repo (a clone is [2], but their plan is to entirely switch to GitHub by the end of the year) with the debian folder of [3] (branch: debian). Most of the work for this was done by Felix and me, but as Anton pointed out there are still some things to do. A blocker for myself had been the nonexistence of a parallel netCDF in Debian, but this situation might sustain for a little longer so I think we can go ahead and get the Trilinos debian package in shape and add the parallel I/O functionality later (it should be trivial).

Perhaps we can discuss the details of what still needs to be done in a separate thread for everyone who's interested. Graham, Felix? Hands up!

Cheers,
Nico

Hi Graham.

there's a git repo already [1]. afair, the packaging branch is not
properly sync'ed with upstream. the files alone should be working on top
of some release tarball. Nico might know which one.

cheers
