Re: Bug#704782: trilinos: new package for Trilinos 11.x

Hi Nico, Debian Science List

Nico, I've just come across your message while looking into repackaging Trilinos.

I know you wrote this a long time ago, but I was pleased to see you are still updating your PPA!

I'd be happy to co-maintain this package with you in Debian and review and sponsor your uploads.

Debian Science List, what needs to be done before uploading a new version?
I don't see that the package was ever orphaned and the pkg-scicomp svn is gone.
I could set up a new git under debian-science.
Do you think it would be worth pulling in the old releases from snapshot.d.o, or given the amount of time has passed, rather start afresh?

Regards
Graham
