Hello,
I just upload the 2.3.6 version of spyder.
then I discovered that they switch from Qt_API #1 -> QT_API #2
So it breakes guiqwt, guidata, python-taurus and spykeviewer
Does Spyder launch and work normally though ?
I filled an important bug against spyder to avoid migration to testing.
Now I do not know if this is important or not for you to have a working unstable distribution.
What about Ubuntu imports ? We can live with different versions in
testing / unstable, but Ubuntu imports straight from unstable, no ?
So what I propose is maybe to revert the spyder to the previous one if you can not affort a broken unstable and upload le 2.3.6 version into experimental
2.3.6+really2.3.5.2+dfsg1-1 (unstable)
and
2.3.6+dfsg1-2~exp1 (experimental)
or
to fill bugs report against rdepends in order to do the migration with the upcomming spyder, and the new guiqwt and guidata which will land in experimental.
But it will take time maybe mounth...
I guess it would make sense to let Spyder brew in experimental and wait
for its rdepends to land in unstable / experimental first.
I guess the upload of spyder 3 beta in experimental is not going to
happen soon then ;-)
On a personal note, I am on testing so I am happy with either solutions
you proposed.

Ghis
