On improving the d-science policy

Dear all,

This has been a recurring topic in past discussions I have had with Andreas, and was also mentioned by Sylvestre in his goodbye notice a few months ago [1]. Andreas encouraged me last time to start this discussion, hence this email.

The d-science policy badly needs some love. Some sections need a refresh / clarification / more details or a combination of those. These days, I personally tend to read the d-med policy when in doubt about something, rather than the d-science one. I find the d-med policy better worded, more accurate, organized and up-to-date for most topics.

I would like to take the opportunity of this email to kick-start an effort of improving the d-science policy. I would like to ask all d-science contributors to help list the areas where the policy should be improved. Please aim to provide as much details as possible for each of the proposed amendment.

Thank you for contributing to the improvement of d-science,

Best regards,

Ghislain
