Re: science-chemistry

Hi Gary,

[as Paul told you the Debian Science list (in CC) is the place you want
to contact. Please answer here (and not to me in private since I
personally do not care about the Chemistry topic)]

The science-chemistry metapackage installs all packages in Debian that
are related to chemistry. If (and only if) these packages bring their
own proper menu entry you will get an entry of these single
dependencies.

You can get an overview on the according tasks page[1] or you might even
better advised to have a look at the single tasks of the DebiChem
project[2] which creates a more structured selection of metapackages.
If you are a chemist you most probably want to contact the DebiChem team
on their list.

Hope this helps

      Andreas.
