That's because I had been talking with a colleague who is also involved
upstream. I decided to offer my help here while he pinged Sylwester.

I don't mean to hijack your package. However, it would make sense for me
to get involved since I can meet upstream face to face anytime.

I'll see if I can help for plplot and gdl on the short term, and we'll
see later about adoption and team maintenance.
