The parser for machine readable files in Vcs is parsing Git[1] and
SVN[2] from Debian Science as specified in our policy document[3] - so
feel free to choose whatever you prefer as long it is under the Debian
Science umbrella.  If you are choosing some other base in svn.debian.org
you should tell me (but make sure it is some team and not a single
package SVN which becomes unmaintainable in the long run).
