Hi Adrian, Hi Ali;

I guess if Ali and you are willing to get it into shape, somebody from
the team will sponsor it.  I also guess DH is preferred to CDBS by most
in the team. You may need to talk to people on the java team for help
with the java specifics. They might also be a potential home for the
package (not trying to get rid of you, but java packaging is quite
special).  There seems to be quite a few people in #debian-java on
irc.debian.org.
