Hi Rudi, you are requesting an adoption, not a sponsoring. Is the source on the svn repository? The problem with sponsoring is that you indicate to take over when the maintainer leaves and you just said so. If you continue maintaining it Michael is not coming up with good reasons why the package should not be ready, then, well, I might be going for it.
