In my opinion this is a bug in apt-get, since the debian/control file
in the root source package includes "libqt3-dev | libqt3-mt-dev" in
the Build-Depends line. Once libqt3-mt-dev is installed, apt-get
should not get hung up on the fact that libqt3-dev doesn't exist.

Anyway, if you have installed all the build-depends by hand, you
should now be able to build ROOT in the usual Debian way despite
apt-get's problems.
