I didn't completely abandon it, but I had to reduce the amount of work I
do for Debian, and I doubt that I will have time for that soon.
Especially since I don't know Java really, and it didn't turn out to be
trivial to run or compile it with a free Java. I took it as an
opportunity to get more familiar with Java, but won't have much energy
for that, either.

So if somebody else is interested, I'd gladly hand that over.
