Hi, You might be interested for the next DWN to notice that following Helen Faulkner's talk at debconf5 (http://dc5video.debian.net/2005-07-17/Using_Debian_for_science_research-Helen_Faulkner.mpeg) a new Debian mailing list for science has been opened (http://lists.debian.org/debian-science/2005/07/msg00002.html). Its purpose, defined here (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=320275), being using Debian for science and related research. All interested people are invited to join (http://lists.debian.org/debian-science/). There is also a related wiki effort at its beginning (http://wiki.debian.net/?DebianScience).
