Hi We have a bunch of Guile-related packages in Debian, see list below. Do you have any thoughts on team-maintaining these packages? I'm trying to understand if there are enough interested Guile people in Debian who want to collaborate like some other successful Debian packaging teams. Maybe we can help take care of these packages together, sharing some of the load. To avoid inflating the number of groups further, the closest team that I could find that is suitable seems like the Debian Scheme Dream Team, which only owns four packages: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=debian-scheme%40lists.debian.org There are some more packages here: https://salsa.debian.org/scheme-team Barak, Gwen, Jeronimo, NIIBE, what do you think about Guile people joining the Scheme team to team-maintain some Guile packages? There is a bunch of similarities like the following hacks, which could use a wiki page to discuss. override_dh_dwz: dh_dwz --exclude=.go override_dh_shlibdeps: dh_shlibdeps --exclude=.go I would be happy to move 'guile-fibers' and 'shepherd' as team-maintained packages, if there are no objections to this. If others is happy to see their package move too, we could all help to make that happen. I prefer to keep the packages in the /debian/ Salsa namespace though, moving packages around is noisy and there isn't really any significant advantage with this as far as I can tell. But this aspect isn't important. /Simon guix shepherd scheme-bytestructures guile-2.2 guile-3.0 guile-avahi guile-cairo guile-commonmark guile-fibers guile-gcrypt guile-git guile-gnutls guile-json guile-lib guile-lzlib guile-reader guile-semver guile-sqlite3 guile-ssh guile-zlib guile-zstd
