X11 with de_CH and ru(phonetic)

Hi

First of all, I want to apologize if I break any list policies while writing
this mail in English. I do have a localization issue and I don't know where I
could ask (please point me to the right place if debian-russian is the wrong
one).

I'd like to be able to write in Russian with my notebook which has a de_CH
(Swiss German) keyboard layout. Only X11 is needed and it's a debian sarge
install. Unfortunately, I can't set the XkbLayout to "de_CH,ru(phonetic)"
and the command

 setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout "de_CH,ru(phonetic)" \
  -option "grp:ctrls_toggle"

is failing with "Error loading new keyboard description".

I tried it with "de,ru(phonetic)". That one is working, but the Swiss German
(de_CH) and the German (de) keyboard layout do only have a few mutualities,
so that's not a final solution. I also tried to look at the differences
between the two symbol files, but I don't understand the syntax :(

Best Regards

Mathias Weyland

PS: Answers in Russian are ok for me.
