ruby-sqlite3 and doc-base

I recently took over maintenance of the ruby-sqlite3 package. During build,
it converts an upstream FAQ.md to FAQ.html and ships a doc-base file.

I hadn’t previously encountered doc-base before.

Even though the documentation says that KHelpCenter can parse doc-base files
on the system, it doesn’t appear to do so. I didn’t try any of the other
options.

My question is: how common/desired is it to ship documentation in doc-base
format? The package currently ships the FAQ.md file alongside the FAQ.html.
In addition, there are two other upstream .md files that might be desirable in
doc-base if it is actually of use.
