gem2deb is equivalent to:
gem fetch, gem2tgz, dh-make-ruby.
Then, you need to look at each file in debian/ and make the necessary
change (possibly not just copyright and control). When the package is
ready, dput it to mentors, so that we can review it, and then upload it
to Debian (you can't upload directly to Debian yourself, you need to be
a DD for that).

Alternatively to uploading to mentors, you could add the package to the
pkg-ruby-extras git repository, and we could review it from there. But
maybe it's better to do a first package using mentors so we make sure
we agree on that part of the process.
